In light of all the hits I got from Facebook when I said Canadians believe their large penises evolved via natural selection, I figured I would capitalize on that interest and make this post about geographic variation in human penis size.
The data comes from a study by Dr. Eduardo Gomez de Diego. As it happens, he’s the CEO of a company that sells penis lengthening devices. That doesn’t mean his information is false, but I think it would be interesting to compare his study to the primary markets for his products.
Here’s the map from the study.
The big winner? Congo at 7.1 inches. Or at least the women of Congo. The least endowed? Thailand at about 4 inches.
That is, unless you look at other data by the same guy. In that case it’s Indian men who are the least endowed (3.9 inches) while the French are the most endowed (6.2 inches), showing that France can win at something.
