If you make an argument that the guy who was choked on the subway in New York did or didn’t deserve what happened based on his absolutely irrelevant history, you’re a complete and utter idiot. Or you know you’re making an irrelevant argument and you’re simply willing to argue like an idiot. Which is the sort of thing an idiot would do. So, either way.
