Selon moi, faith is repeated, self-inflicted brain-death.
I’d say faith has the same relationship to knowledge that astrology has to astronomy, or alchemy to organic chemistry… it represents humanity’s first, fumbling efforts to find answers. And it’s been superseded by something FAR more useful and effective.
People who still rely on faith when knowledge is available puzzle me. That’s like getting around on a pogo stick when there’s a fueled-up Ferrari waiting in the garage.
How do you know that? By faith?
See what I did there? BAM. Apologetics. Ergo Jesus.
