I agree! I’ve only seen about 15 others (or should I say XV?), but wow…
Still, halftime was fun. And I enjoyed my pizza.
Re: XV times. When I get to be dictator, three things will immediately come to pass:
1. The insane switch between standard and daylight-savings time will end. We’ll set our clocks ahead 1/2 hour and LEAVE THEM THERE.
2. Except when no other alternative is possible, stinky diesel engines will be replaced with ordinary internal-combustion engines.
3. Except in historical contexts, the use of Roman numerals will be strongly disparaged, discouraged, and made fun of.
I have to agree. I like a good football game where teams are competetive. I was really hoping for a game like that. What we got was absolute domination by the Hawks. I did not see that coming.
Halfway through the 3rd quarter I was walking around mumbling to myself, and yelling at the tv for Denver interceptions, fumbles, allowing a kick return for a TD, and just in general getting steamrolled.
I saw a bit after the game, the coach of the Broncos told the interviewer “we ran into a buzz saw” I couldn’t have said it better.
I am glad I didn’t have any emotional invesment in the Bronco’s. I was rooting for them, but at least they aren’t my closest NFL team that I feel compelled to be a fan of. But hey the Broncos are light years better than the Titans.
Titans really muffed when they let Fischer go. Grumble grumble…
