Contrary to popular (but not scientific) belief, the positive and appropriate perception of science is undermined by religion, alternative medicine, the U.S. education system, and most science journalists.

Isn’t it a bit funny that the small caption of humans there obviously depicts Adam and Eve? I call Bullshiten.
Well, Adam and Eve WERE the first humans, they deserve to be on there, of course. But where’s Jesus and all of the fundagelicals that came after that? That’s what I want to know.
I’m inclined to agree with Freidenker… it shouldn’t have depicted Adam & Eve… and they shouldn’t appear at the top of the chart either!
Skep, don’t you find it kinda funny that Eve just happens to be holding an apple?
I see there’s an apple. I don’t know why the snakes are so far away from them, though, or why they are so far-removed from god, who I do not see depicted.
Sunny, you’re obviously not paying attention. This is a depiction of the evolution of *animals*. Humans are the best animals, but God hasn’t evolved yet.
What?
Haha, I think it’s just poetic license.
The Church of Darwin forbids poetic license, or poetry!
