Last time I heard a state passed gay marriage, I was like, “Cool,” and went on with my day.
I knew Boy Scouts of America was close to making a decision on its ban on gay scouts, but I wasn’t sure exactly when it would happen. When it occurred this past Thursday, I had no idea.
I’m curious what aspects of the civil rights movement of the 50’s and 60’s were similar to this, if any.
