St. Patrick Day memories……
I lived on the parade route as a kid in So. Boston. ….remember a contigent of Civil War Vets who used to ride in parade and always got a big cheer…..also remember JFK once when he was a Rep and the parade stopped and I was in a sparse crowd….he stared at me for quite some time until I got uncomfortable….trying to connect I suppose to a poor kid from southie….if only I had the presence of mind to get an autograph…
