Almost clever. Daylight savings time is stupid.
Daylight Savings Time should happen year round. Let it people wake in the dark.
Sorry, let me put it a different way.
Setting the clocks forward and back is stupid. We should leave them in one place and if people and businesses want to shift their operating hours with changing seasons, then so be it.
But I would also ditch time zones and go to GMT for everyone.
Besides, you say that like people don’t already wake in the dark. My dad has been getting up at 5am as far back as I can remember, and as far as I know, he still does so. Near as i can tell, the most noticeable thing about daylight savings is that everyone loses an hour of sleep in the spring.
We have these things now you may have heard about, light bulbs. If it’s dark you just turn them on and they make it less dark.
