Comments

I have had comments set to allow for nesting. That means it is possible to click “reply” below a given comment and leave another comment, this time having it indent so as to indicate a response. I hate this. I only have it because when I transferred everything to my other blog, that was a default setting and then people used it like crazy when I was getting a ton of hits. Now that that is all over, I am switching everything back. This will result in some funky looking responses in a few places.

  1. No, this can’t be.

  2. Quoting can be done by using HTML around “blockquote”. So use this symbol < and its mirror symbol around "blockquote". Then do the same thing with a backslash to close it.

    [blockquote] What you're quoting [/blockquote]

The difference, again, being the use of < and its mirror. (If I use both, they won't show up.)

  3. I posted that hoping that I could comment on my own comment, but noooo.

You know, people that make comments like that should have their asses kicked up around their shoulders.

Man, I’ve been saying that for years. Well said.
