If Obama and the rest of the Democrats would actually make the Republicans follow through on their filibuster attempts, things could actually get done. Because really, how long does anyone think the Republicans will actually stand on the Senate floor and talk continuously?

For the Sake of Science
Up until two days ago, the Republicans couldn’t have filibustered if they wanted to; the ineptness was completely the President’s and his party’s.
Of course, that didn’t stop him from lying about who was keeping them from passing legislation.
A couple conservative Democrats have also made filibusters possible.
But that isn’t something Obama can lay at the doorstep of Republicans.
