More important to whom?
Only one thing can be of value?
More important to the advancement of humanity, Jack.
I didn’t say Lincoln was unimportant, only that Darwin was more important, Alan.
I would say the actual emancipation of the slaves in the south, and the general groundwork it laid for civil rights later on certainly did more for the ‘advancement of humanity’ then anything Darwin did or one imagines he did.
